Abstract

This study conducted an exploratory investigation into the long-term learning effects of board game teaching materials in university education. Two games, DAIGAKU and Life Literacy Game, were played with university staff as participants, and the results of questionnaires administered immediately after the game and one month later were compared. The findings indicated that while players’ short-term interest could be elicited, no long-term learning effects were confirmed.
